We Are Excited To Introduce You To Our New Head Of Marketing Of CVI!

We are excited to introduce you to our new Head of Marketing of CVI, Gal Yalon. We asked Gal 5 questions to get to know him better, read below:

1. Tell us a bit about yourself and how you got into marketing?

Hey everyone! I’m happy to join the team and this amazing project!

My name is Gal, I’m 29 years old, based in Tel-Aviv. I’m passionate about dogs, food, and the ocean. I started my professional career at Cellebrite LTD R&D division. Meanwhile, I was studying and graduated with a B.A. & M.A. in communication from Reichman University and launched my own marketing agency which I ran until last week when I joined CVI as the Head of Marketing. During those amazing 5 years I did marketing for various companies and industries, from retail, to startups, to crypto companies. I’m a huge fan of crypto, and I’ve been extremely involved in the blockchain sphere for the past 5 years.

2. What attracted you to CVI?

Since the establishment of COTI, I’ve been a huge fan of the company. When I first heard about the Crypto Volatility Index I was amazed. The Volatility index for crypto is a huge tool that I immediately knew I wanted to take a part in. I’m honored and excited to lead the marketing of this amazing and such important tool.

3. What do you hope to improve with CVI’s marketing?

My vision is to make the CVI the benchmark of volatility in the crypto ecosystem. From traders to hedge funds, like the VIX in the stock market, every investor should use the CVI as an investment tool and observe it as the benchmark of volatility. We are going to build a strong community, develop collaborations and advertisements to become the number one volatility instrument in the market. I’m really excited about the upcoming journey and I’m glad that you are all part of it!

4. Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

In November 2020, I published my first book, named “Almost 30” which ended up second in sales in the “Hebrew book week”! Also, my name, Gal, in Hebrew means “a wave”, which is ironic because I am obsessed with the beach.
