- Go to cvi.finance, connect your wallet, and select Arbitrum.
2. Select the ‘Trade’ option on the top menu.
Choose your preferred index, either CVI or the Ultra CVI, which is a 3x stretched version of the CVI.
4. a- Input the desired amount of USDC for trading, and choose your leverage level, which can be up to 16x. When paired with Ultra CVI, this results in an effective leverage of 48x relative to the standard CVI.
b. If you lack USDC or ETH (required for transaction fees) on Arbitrum, our user-friendly ‘SWAP’ feature can help. Unlike CVI v3, which utilized USDC.e, our upgraded v4 platform now employs native USDC. Consequently, if you hold USDC.e, converting them to USDC is essential. The swap function streamlines this process. Moreover, if your tokens are on a different network, transferring them to Arbitrum is straightforward using our bridge functionality.
5. Before opening a trade, check the fees, position size, and adjust your execution gap (slippage) tolerance.
6. Now, press the ‘APPROVE USDC’ button, confirm the capped amount in your wallet, then press ‘Approve’. Once you’ve done that, press the ‘SUBMIT’ button that appears where the previous approval button was.
7. You can view your open positions and activity log in the box right below the chart which shows the position size, net value, collateral, entry, current, and liquidation prices.
- IMPORTANT: Traders can only open one position per Index (CVI or Ultra CVI). In case you want to increase your position, you can press the increase option shown and add to your position size.
